ABOUT OUR PRESCHOOL

This week's Bible Story will be about the Ascension!

Join Pastor Mars and preschoolers in the sanctuary for Chapel Service!

All church members and visitors are welcome to attend!

Christ the King Preschool was started in September 1989 as part of the church’s service to its members and the Cody Community. Former director Romell Reinker, with the help of a specially formed Preschool Board, took approximately 6 months to organize and develop the preschool.

The purpose of the school is to provide a supportive and stimulating environment in which the young child can learn about him or herself and about others in the world around him or her. It is a program which provides an organized, Christian approach suited to the maturity level and growth pattern of the child, providing experiences in the five major areas of development: physical, social, intellectual, emotional, and spiritual growth.

The program offers a balance between free play and planned experiences allowing each child to make choices to meet with success and to develop in his/her own individual style and pace. It is also the aim of the school to support and encourage parents, and to invite their participation in numerous ways in their child’s first school experience.

With the help of God, the parents, and the teachers of
Christ the King Preschool will always remember to
“TRAIN A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO AND WHEN
HE IS OLD HE WILL NOT TURN FROM IT.” Proverbs 22:6
